Smith and Co Construction is 100% New Zealand-owned and operated. We only use New Zealand Steel and round wood timber in all of our builds. Smith & Co construction works primarily in the agricultural and dairy sectors.
Due to demand in 2023, we launched our kitset shed range for the lifestyle market.
These Smith and Co kitset farm sheds are like no other. All of our kitset farm sheds have been designed by engineers for New Zealand conditions.
Our horse shelters and farm sheds are designed to add value to your lifestyle property – We don’t do wooden shacks.
One thing that was very clear to us, the sheds being sold by the sheds franchises were far too big and the animal shelters were far too small.
So we went about designing the correct-sized sheds for NZ lifestyle blocks.
We have three popular kitset farm sheds that we sell – A two Bay farm Shed, A Horse Float Shed, and a Horse Float / Boat Shelter – also popular with caravan and campervan owners.
The two-bay shed and the horse float sheds will need the help of a local builder. The horse shelters are pretty straight forward to build yourself.
You will find our shed prices very affordable while not compromising on quality.
The reason farm sheds can be expensive is due to the franchise costs incurred by most shed companies.
Smith and co are not a franchise therefore this allows us to pass those savings on to you.
